Some of the uses of Spearmint

For Culinary Use:
You can use spearmint for hot or cold beverages, sauces, salads, jellies, meats and vegetables.

For use in the garden:
This is a spreading perennial that has aromatic foliage, especially when rubbed between your fingers. It has pointed, bright green leaves. In the summer time, spikes of lilac-pink flowers bloom. This herb is attractive in both borders and containers. They are hardy plants in zones 4-10.

Other interesting uses for spearmint:
You can use spearmint for household surface cleaning, believe it or not. You can add either dried or fresh spearmint to other cleaning agents such as water and vinegar. You can add to potpourri. Mint sachets can repel flies and moths.
